Effects

The Industrial Revolution's effects are still felt today - they were many and widespread, and to track every single one would be impossible. During that time period and extending later, however, there were effects that were recorded and did have a significant impact on the global situation. It is important to understand that, while many of these developments occurred contemporarily to the period being discussed, they continue to evolve, and that people are constantly re-examining this time period for the effects it has had on the people who lived through it, as well as our own times and those of future generations.

These essential effects are explained in detail in the sections, which include political effects, working conditions, city growth, role of women, cities, ideological effects, and jobs. Each section goes into detail about one specific effect of the Industrial Revolution, attempting to track its impact on the global community and illustrating its relevance to society.
