This website is the result of collaboration between four teenagers living in the United States - Aamani, Libbie, Masuma, and Maria.

After hours of delibaration and argument, the team decided on a topic - The Industrial Revolution. The widespread effects of this revolution have affected all our lives and was something everybody was interested in. We knew that our project would stagnate if not for passion and motivation.

Although most of the website came together during the last month before the deadline, research was ongoing and the team members searched far and dug deep in an effort to create an optimal educational experience. During their research process they also discovered the lack of a comprehensive website about the Industrial Revolution - another motivation for the creation of the site.

Every team member was assigned a certain amount of research on topics thatinterested them the most, as the project continued and research was conducted, many topics were swapped, notes were given to others to write, and hours were spent on the phone as attempting to decipher the words of Adam Smith. The research, however, was not divided equally; identifying strengths, each member of the team was responsible for portions of the website that they could manage the best.

Maria, an avid researcher, with a well of knowledge and incredible writing skills, conducted a large portion of the research. She wrote many of the pages and undertook the hardest parts of the research, often taking over sections other team members like Masuma and Libbie could not handle. Additionally, Maria's knowledge of Russian and French aided in the translations into both languages.

Masuma, in addition to leading the team and always providing guidance due to prior experience, researched heavily and wrote large sections of the website. She also helped in the actual creation of the website and designing of the layout. Her experience was extremely helpful as she knew and searched for answers to questions the team had.

Graphically oriented, Libbie created all the media used on the website and helped with the layout. Having taken classes in these areas, her expertise in these areas was highly beneficial to the completion of the project. Additionally, Libbie conducted detailed research. Her Chinese heritage also helped with translation.

Aamani's strength lay in web-design – she provided a foundation that the team could later build off of and had a lot of knowledge in the area which helped immensely. She also covered a large portion of the required research, working steadly and constantly throughout the project.

The coach and assistant coach provided guidance, both Mrs. Gogte and Mr. Ahuja offered advice and support to the team, correcting and aiding us as we persevered.

Although the four team members met only once, we emailed constantly and always provided support, teaching and learning together. Although often working seperately, strong friendships grew out of this project as we learnt to rely on each other - if only for words of comfort when panicking or helping editing a translation. We shared huge the workload the website.
