Bandwidth Setting

We realize that some of our visitors may be connecting via narrowband technologies. For this purpose, we have created our website with two modes: normal and lite.

NORMAL MODE is recommended for broadband connections and will make use of graphical elements, visuals displays, movies, and flash demonstrations.

LITE MODE will minimize graphical elements and is best suited for narrowband connections such as dial-up or ISDN.

How to activate JavaScript

For the best experience with our website, we recommend that you activate javascript and use a modern browser (we strongly recommend Mozilla Firefox or Opera ).

For Internet Explorer users, please update to v.6 if not already done. You can check which version you have by clicking on the Help menu, then clicking on About Internet Explorer.

How to enable JavaScript in some common browsers:

Please note: Safari or Konqueror are not supported. Please visit our Non-Javascript-Site. At the time of writing our system, Safari was unable to support the XMLHTTPRequest object. For this reason, our website's Ajax version will not function correctly in Safari.

FireFox 1.0+

  1. Select Tools from the Menu Bar
  2. Click on Options
  3. Click on Web Features
  4. Check the box to Enable Javascript
  5. Exit out of the Options Dialog
  6. Reload the page

Opera 7+

  1. Select Tools from the Menu Bar
  2. Click on Preferences
  3. In the Preferences List, click on Multimedia
  4. Check the box to Enable Javascript
  5. Exit out of the Preferences Dialog
  6. Reload the page

Internet Explorer 6.0+

  1. Select Tools from the Menu Bar
  2. Click on Internet Options
  3. Go to the Security Tab and click on Internet
  4. Click on the Custom Level button
  5. In the dialog, scroll to find Active Scripting
  6. Click Enable
  7. Exit out of the dialogs
  8. Reload the page
