| Font interfacing (1) helps the garment front to drape smoothly over the body; garment front edges hang straight, and pockets are supported. The shoulder reinforcement (2) ensures a smooth line from shoulder to bustline. Because the garment front piece turns back to form the lapel (3), pay special attention to shaping this area. The completed lapel should roll back smoothly and curve slightly inward at the lapel points (4). Tape the lapel roll line (5) with stay tape by hand or machine. | ![]() |
