Hi my name is Roboto. Welcome to my site about robotics. On this site I am to teach you everything you need to know about robots. It’s very simple really; robots are mechanical devices that are made to do a physical task.

These can be tasks that humans don’t want to do or they can’t do because they are too dangerous or too repetitive.

There is no particular form that we come in, we can be humanoid, which is a way of mimicking the human form, or we can be irregular depending on what we are built to do.

There are many different kinds of robots for instance mobile robots, which are automatic and can move in a given environment.  Or Manipulator robots that can be manipulated to make any movements recorded in their program.

We are programmed to do whatever task we perform on a  computer program which is accessed by humans. So therefore we are a manmade product.
