This is one of the bands that started Trash Metal
Thash Metal started in the early 80s by four different bands,METALLICA,MEGADETH,SLAYER,ANTHERAX. They where all influenced by old school punk rock and metallica was also influenced by brithish heavy metal. When this frist came out it was different that anything that out there. The thrash metal bands wanted to do something different than all the other hair metal bands that just played metal to get the girls and the money. Thrash Metal bands just wanted to play for the love of the music and to feak people out by there guitar solos.At the end of the 80s thrash metal wasn't that popular but now the new metal band are starting to bring back thrash metal by playing crazy solos and fast guitar riffs. People say thrash metal is dead well i don't think so!
