Heavy Metal comes from the the blues, blues rock, rock and prog rock in the late 1960's. Heavy Metal music sounds are formed of aggresive rythyms, and high amplified amplified disstorted guitars. In the mid 70's is when Heavy Metal was born. Black Sabbath was the first gruop of members to get the heavy metal sound, if it werent them we wouldnt have any type of metal to this day. After Black Sabbath we had Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Aerosmith, Judas Preist, and KISS. KISS was most famous in the 70's.
