Ideograms

Ideograms are pictures that have a further meaning. For example if there is a fork, knife, and a cup that means that there is a place to eat and if you see a picture of a big red cross it means first aid. Ideograms are used in logographic writing systems such as Egyptian hieroglyphs and Chinese characters.
