My name is Dkquawana I am 16 years old. I was born in Long Island, New York. I moved to Philadelphia when I was one year old. I have been living in Philadelphia ever since. I visit New York every now and then to see my grandparents and my uncle on major holidays. Even though I lived in Philadelphia for 15 years now, I still don’t know much about it. I only know about the main places that a lot of people like to go to. I am a junior in high school. I am a part of the Air Force J.R.O.T.C Academy, step team, unarmed drill, armed drill, and regular drill. I joined the Air Force J.R.O.T.C because it helped me learn leadership skills and discipline. Also it can help me get a scholarship for college. I have been a part of J.R.O.T.C for 3 years now and I’m going to be in it until I graduate from high school. I will be apart of the first graduating class in my school. My job for the website was the writer. I had to read through all of the research and gather the information from that and figure out how I would write the pages for the website. I like to write a lot. I write poems, a little bit of songs and some stories so my job really wasn’t that hard. I really enjoyed being the writer. During my spare time when I’m not writing I’m
either singing, reading books, drawing, on the computer, watching television,
laughing with my brothers, hanging out with my friends, talking on the
telephone, going out, listen to R&B and Hip Hop and other things that
I like to do. |
