The Alexandria Zoo was founded in 1926. It is a home to about 600 different animals.
The Alexandria Zoo is open 7 days a week, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. They are closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Day.
You can get close to the animals, do fun crafts, and learn from all the zookeepers.
Adults who are 13-64 cost $3.00, kids who are 4-12 cost $2.00, people who are 65 and over cost $1.50, 3 and under is no cost at all.
