Text Box: Joe Shuster met up with Jerry Siegel early on in his life. Along with helping Siegel produce Superman as its writer, he worked in other aspects of DC comic company.

Text Box: Jerry Siegel  co-created Superman in 1933 with his friend Joe Shuster. While working at the DC comic company, Shuster also contributed to the DC comic legacy by creating comics such as Superboy.

Text Box: William Moulton Marston was an avid observer of the comic world and realized that there were no heroines. Using science to back up his reasoning, Marston felt that women were better and therefore created Wonder Women under the pen name of "Charles Moulton".
Although not pictured, Harry Peter and Max Gaines can also be created for the creation of Wonder Woman. Harry Peter was the first artist of the comic strip and continued his drawing legacy to his death. Max Gaines not only contributed his middle name (Charles) but was also one the most influential publishers at the time.

Text Box: During the 1940s, an age in which most superheroes had super powers, Bob Kane introduced an hero who was an ordinary man yet still made it to superhero status. Bob Kane co-creator Batman with Bill Finger in 1939, a year after he joined the DC company. Kane also created many of Batman's allies and enemies as well as many of the Batman movies and television series'.

Text Box: Bill Finger was a very controversial person when it came to the creation of Batman. Although some people feel that Kane was inspired by other sources such as Leonardo Da Vinci, many still believe that it was Finger who provided the most inspiration. Finger is said to have contributed to the Batman costume, original story line and even some of the subsequent characters in the Batman series. Finger can also be credited to the creation of the Green Lantern.
