     Shu was the Egyptian god of the air and the supporter of the sky. Shu was the one who separated Geb and Nut. He did this by interposing him self between them. Shu was depicted as a human form that wore an ostrich feather with his arm raised to support the one goddess nut above the supine form of Geb.
