Set or Seth, was known for murdering his brother to gain the throne (Isis and Osirus). Because of this he is referred to as an evil god. He has the head resembling a jackal. Set had great powers over storms and animals. These characteristics are shown in (Isis and Osirus) by turning into a hippopotamus and causing a flood. Set was not always a god of evil. In the early years of his existence he protected Re’s sun boat from Apep, a god who wished to kill Re. Set became corrupt when his brother was king of Egypt and he wasn’t. Hatred for his brother grew when people loved Osirus.

  Eventually, set was slain by Horus, his soul was throw in another battle against Horus for people’s souls. Set wished to turn people evil. In summary Set was the evilest god in Egyptian mythology.
