Re was the Egyptian sun and creator god . He looked like a Human with a Falcon head, crowned with a sun disc encircled by the uraeus (a stylized representation of the sacred cobra). The sun is ether his body or eye. Re was also an underworld god, closely associated in this respect with Osiris.
