When to Go
The warmer months, from November to April , are when tourism is busiest, especially during the school holidays from December 20 to January 30. A good time to visit either before or after this period, when the weather is still warm and there aren't as many other travellers around.

What to Bring
The weather in New Zealand is always changing and varies from city to city. Come prepared for both cool and warm weather conditions. Also be prepared for dress codes at different establishments, men should bring a tie.
