Hello, I'm Ann; I'm a 14-year-old female. Three words that describe me are Loyal, Respectful, and Curious. The word Loyal describes me because I stay close to those I trust. Besides staying close I do as they say, as long as what they ask me to do doesn't break any rules. The word Respectful describes me because I respect everyone around me. Everyone around me has their own beliefs, wishes, and dreams; which means no one should be treated differently. I am also curious, but I do my best not to let my curiosity get the best of me. I always wonder about my surroundings, and would love just to explore where I'm at. I had decided to take web mastery, because I wanted to know how to create a website. I had learned how to create part of a website in 6th grade, but had forgotten over the summer. Besides learning how to make a website, I would gain credit towards High school. Outside of this class I use HTML to create look-ups, guilds, and other extras for other sites I visit. I do these things because I want to test my skills at HTML, while doing something unique. My favorite part of web mastery is designing the layout, using Adobe Photoshop. The reason I enjoy this part is because you can organize everything down to the last detail. I have few other interests, which mainly involve a computer. My first interest is reading fan fiction stories, over the computer. My second interest is creating images, using any graphic design system. My third interest is drawing, though drawing has nothing to do with a computer, I enjoy making pictures using an old fashion pencil. I have few plans for my future; I don't really know what I want to be. I just know I'd go to high school, and go to a collage using the scholarships I plan on getting. Other then that I don't think there is anything else you really need to know. So on that note, have a nice day! |
Trevor: I am a guy and I am here to represent my school. I worked vary hard to put this site together. I worked on the html for my group. It was and is vary difficult to work on but I love a challenge. This was my first year in a technology class. I know I still have a lot to learn in the arts of HTML design, but I know I can excel in what I love to do. I have a really good group and this has been the coolest year of school I have ever had. In fact I have been inspired to be a web designer. When I first came here I thought it would be easy, but I have found that it is fun it is also a lot of work. This contest has to be the highlight of the year. I am so exited about the contest and I have high hopes for my group and our site. With all my group working I know our site will be awesome. I am going to do my best to show every one everywhere what I can do. So know I have shown you what I do and think. |
Curtis It was a great joy to work in this team. The subject was interesting to me, and that gave me enthusiasm as I diligently typed up all the information and such onto the page. A Great Thanks to Trevor because without him, we would not have been able to pull the site together. I know very little about HTML and the technical things about making a website. I do not think we could have pulled it off without Samuel either, because he researched very, very well and kept well organized. All in all, I still think we could have done better on this site if we worked just a little bit harder. My spot on the team involved typing up much of the textical (yes that is my own word) content onto the site, - and editing the things that Anne/Trevor/Samuel typed up - after splitting up the information that Samuel gave me and then forwarding that onto Trevor so he could put it on the page. |
Hello my name is Samuel. My group's topic was on witchcraft, but recently the topic has changed to that of the Salem witch trials. The main job I perform for the group is that of the group researcher. My job is to find accurate up to info on our topic from reliable sources. When I first started to research witchcraft I mad the mistake of actually looking up my info in a quick Google search on witchcraft. As a result all I found was a brunch of Harry Potter sites probably made by fans with not enough to do. During my second search I looked up the dark arts, and once again found nothing but Harry Potter sites. When I finally got my act together I soon found
the necessary material for our site. So I began to copy, rewrite, and
recopy some content. So I had collected sufficient notes for the time,
but the layout of the site was still under construction, and by the time
it was completed the content we had was lacking some of what we needed.
Also some of what we already had been misplaced over time. How ever there
is very little doubt in my mind that the content and links will be completed,
and up and running now that the layout is complete. |
