Who Uses This Stuff Anyway?

Artificial Intelligence is more present in everyday life than one might think. Though AI technology lies hidden behind many of today’s advancements in science and technology, it is often more visible when it’s incorporated into areas such as sports and games.

Either way, the increased use of AI technology places otherwise-inaccessible technologies within our grasp.

AI also is pushing forward into new areas of knowledge. Several groups of scientists across the world are experimenting with ways to treat paralysis and blindness robotically using electrical signals that communicate directly with a patient’s brain. Pioneers such as Ray Kurzweil have created computer programs that create poetry or art using innate, preprogrammed knowledge or examples of previously written poetry.

The growth of AI allows the expansion of more and more technologies similar to these, and they pave the way for future global growth as they help us realize dreams while solving many of the world's current problems.
