Hello my name is Laura and I am a 15 year old sophomore at Pinkerton Academy in New Hampshire. I immigrated from Colombia to the United States four years ago and hope to become a US citizen when I turn 18. What I like most about the USA is the school system, and the people. I love to read, play sports, and learn new languages. I speak both Spanish and English and right now I am studying French. The next language I want to learn is Italian. I also like to share with people from all parts of the world and especially like to learn about their culture and traditions. At school I am a member of the Spanish Club, the International Club, and Dance Club. When I graduate from high school I would like to go to college to study pediatrics.

ThinkQuest has been an incredible experience. Although it is a lot of work, I know that in the end, when our project is complete and the site is ready, we will realize that all of the work was worth it. The experience of working with all of these people is incredible and I have learned so much.

Thanks to ThinkQuest, I have had the opportunity to relate with people from others countries and have learned so much from them. I was so happy to be able to work with a group of people who work so hard and share a common objective between all of them. It has been a great feeling to have an opportunity to show people what qualities you have and what you are good at.
