Ethics of the Future.

While a few problems have appeared in the present, most of AI’s ethical questions will need to be answered in the future when we have a better handle on what is store for man and machine alike. Many experts have made ominous predictions based on the rate of AI growth and our current place in the development of technology. They foresee a time when humans and robots will essentially merge as technology skyrockets and robots become conscious, leading the way to a complete robot takeover when machines become the dominant “species” and humans become extinct.

Of course, many disagree and form their own forecasts. The bottom line however is that all of these predictions lumped together still come down to speculation and hypotheses. One thing that everyone seems to agree on however is that the future will bring about a tremendous amount of change, and Artificial Intelligence will probably instigate much of it.

Will robots become conscious? Will humanity face a Singularity of tremendous technological expansion? Will nanobots enter our bloodstream? Will computers respond to our thoughts? Read on and find out.
