There are many different beliefs on the creation of Earth. The Greeks, Egyptians, Jews, and Muslims all agree that there was only one in the beginning. In the following there is a brief view of where, what, or how it is that we came about.
Although there are many gods, and one that created humans. The ultimate creator believed by Greek's was a black bird named Nyx. This black bird laid a golden egg. This egg hatched two gods; Eros, the god of love. Eros made the shell of the egg split into 2, and half became the Earth while the other half became the sky.
In the myth of creation, believed by the Egyptians, there are many gods involved. Only one was in the beginning. Two different gods merged as one: Ra and Atum, becoming Atum-Ra. Ra was believed to have appeared from chaos and from him came the other gods. He was seen as the master of life and was never paired with a goddess.
Judaism began as an official religion over 3317 years ago. God told Abraham that he and his wife Sarah would give life to the rest of the Judaism People. This is why Abraham is the father, not creator, of Judaism. God, though, is the creator of the whole universe, including the Torah. God is neither male nor female, but is referred to as He, because He created the world and everything in it. He didn’t come from anywhere, there was nobody before, and He can never be destroyed.
The main belief that Muslims have is that there is only one God. The only god is Allah, the creator. The five pillars of faith are to testify that there is only one true almighty god. In the Qur’an it states that Allah is compassionate and merciful. That he is also kind loving and wise. The Qur’an says that Allah is also the creator, the sustainer and the healer. He is the one who guides, protects, and the one who forgives. There are ninety-nine names or characteristics used to describe Allah’s nature. Islam is based on the unity of god. Islam rejects any form of idol worship and rejects any attempt to make god human. Allah is beyond sight and understanding. Allah knows very well the secrets of Muslims hearts. Muslims pray directly to Allah, hoping for guidance.
