Islam is the religion of Abraham, David, Moses, and Jesus, Muhammad, along with all the other prophets. You can’t be a Muslim if you didn’t believe in all of God’s prophets. Islam is the last religion branching off of Judaism. Every Muslim must believe in Allah (God) and the Prophet Muhammad. You must also follow the Five Pillars:

The Islamic symbol is the "Chand Sitara." The symbol includes a crescent and a star. The star represents the five five pillars. The crescent moon is used as a traditional start point in many celebrations.

Muslims believe in angels. The angels do the work of Allah and follow his orders. Angels are honored creatures who worship Allah. Muslims also believe in “Paradise.” If you enter Paradise you will live a very joyfully and happy life. There will be no sicknesses, pain, grief, or death. Allah will be pleased with you and you will live forever. On judgment day if Allah is not pleased with what one did over his or her life then they will be sent to Hell. Hell is supposed to be hotter than the sun and evil. Once someone enters Hell it is not likely they will be taken out.
