Education      

The education requirement is quite extensive.  Prior to medical school are four years at a university.  Medical school itself is four years. It is suggested that passing grades will lead to being offered a chance to learn at great medical schools.  After eight years of being in school, finally the student has the opportunity of internship and residency.  Internship and residency are offered by academic achievement and the specialty one has chosen.  Premedical students must complete undergraduate work in biology, physics, mathematics, English, and organic chemistry.  Medical student take courses such as anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, psychology, microbiology, pathology, medical ethics, and laws governing medical.  Medical students have a lot of pressure in doing their work and they have to like school and homework to accomplish all of that work.  On top of their education courses medical students must learn to have good bedside manners, emotional stability, and the ability to make decisions in emergencies.  Finally after 11-19 years of education and training, that the student finally becomes the surgeon.
