There are some questions being asked about the practice of making money from blogs. Some feel that as the blog is being hosted for free, it is wrong to use it to make money for personal gain. Also, putting advertisements into a blog may shift the focus off the topic the person is posting about, and into the advertisements instead. Also, it is very annoying to browse through blogs that are cluttered with advertisements, or employ pop-up or pop-under advertisements.
owever, others feel that blogs with advertisements that are not obtrusive are a good way to earn some extra money without making the blog appearing too commercialized. Also, some bloggers choose to base their blogs off paid hosting services, and may employ advertisements as a means to fund the hosting fees.
