Chile

There is a huge gap between the poor and the rich.  Chile is a poor country and everyone in the family is expected to do their share of work. The chores girls in Chile do are cooking, cleaning, and watching their siblings. Family is an important part of Chilean culture.  Often both the mom and the dad work out side of the home and leave a maid to take care of the kids. Up to 1/4 of all people don't have jobs and live in huts with dirt floors. Like other Latin American countries, Chileans eat their big meal in the afternoon and then take a LONG nap, called a siesta.
