Fountain Pump Maintenance

The water needs to be kept at a certain level for the pump to work.  Make sure you check the water level regularly.  You should clean your fountain pump once or twice a month.  You can use vinegar mixed with water and soak the pump in it for 30 minutes.  Make sure you also clean the pump screen.
