How Does A Fountain Work?
By Ryan

The flow of water in your fountain can be controlled.  Pressure, gravity, and temperature will affect the way the fountain works.  Pressure is used to control the amount of water flowing and the force of the flow. Pressure can be changed by using valves on the pipes to tighten the pipe and allow less water to flow through it.  Temperature affects pressure this way. The earth’s gravity pulls the water towards the ground.
