HELLO, FELLOW CITIZENS OF THE WORLD!
          Have you ever dreamed of a utopic world where we have eradicated most of the vices that plague society, where we can co-exist with one another in civic consciousness and harmony, where we can learn to be kinder to our environment instead of seeking to destroy it?
          Well, we thought about that and also brainstormed on how the challenge in schools nowadays is to keep our students on the straight and narrow path, to inculcate in them values that they can take with them on their lifelong journeys, in order to brave and surmount the obstacles that they meet along the way.
          However, it’s counter-productive to drill the heads of our present generation of students with values, or to force-feed them, and we know this too well, being part of this same generation ourselves!
          So, what can we do about this?
          The answer came to us while we were talking about our favourite superheroes and exchanging ‘magic’ cards with our pals – why not teach these values of Character Building and Leadership Fostering through the use of superheroes and the sterling qualities attached to them?
          That was it!
          And so, we set about to create our very own band of heroes extraordinaire, to fly the skies, roam the rooftops of housing blocks, and ply the expressways of Singapore.

Uniquely Singapore Heroes
          Our Singapore Heroes are one-of-a-kind, constantly traveling around our country to solve the local problems that crop up. Through our comics about their extraordinary adventures, we hope to use this interesting method to implement Character Building and Leadership Fostering in our website’s visitors and in our fellow students.
          Our four self-created Singapore Heroes are, namely, Feline Girl, Orange Flash, Environ-man and Aquaboy, and they can be used to teach theft prevention, road safety awareness, and doing our part against environment pollution and water pollution respectively. These are some of the important topics that we feel we have to put in our educational superheroes website, and which we hope too that local teachers will be able to implement in carrying out their civics education programmes. In time to come, this can of course be customized to cater to the specialized needs of teachers overseas.
