Sun Tzu’s Art of War has always enthralled academics and military tacticians. It is a manual about how wars are fought and won.

So you may ask what does this have to do with us? Normal teenagers like you and us are pre-occupied with our appearance, grades, family relationships, whether our friends like us (or not!), if that guy or that girl in class you are interested in likes you (or not!).

Sometimes, we wonder how teenagers survive past puberty, with all the roadblocks, obstacles, and whatnot along the way to trip us up dent our fragile sense of self-esteem. It’s a perilous journey, and many times we find it hard to seek the answers to these difficult questions that we face in our everyday lives.

So, back to our question – what does a 1000-year-old militarian’s manual on how to win wars have to do with us? Let’s explore this a bit further…We’re teens – by definition, hip, cool, hot and happening – yeah!

Sun Tzu? Err…old, wise, sagely, strategic….Did we say strategic? Bingo! We say that Sun Tzu and his thousand-year manual is the answer to your problems! It’s simple – fighting a war is very similar to the daily battles we wage each day against all the demons in our lives.
