All About Jack
Jack has one daughter (Nim), and a wife, who was taken by a whale because of the Troppo tourists. He really hates the Troppo tourists because of that. Jack lives with Nim on their private island. Jack is a scientist. He made a hut using driftwood branches and a palm thatched roof. He made a solar panel to charge up his torch, mobile phone and his laptop. Jack made sleeping mats out of palm fronds and he made a table, stools, a desk, shelves bowls and plates. He made a vegetable garden and used bamboo for pipes. Jack teaches Nim about weather and tides. They also study plants and animals. Jack's favorite animal is plankton and his favorite food is strawberries. He writes about the weather and sends it to magazines and universities. He and Nim have never ever told anyone where the island is (except the people who deliver the food). Jack checks the beaches for useful items. He taught Nim dolphin language and sea lion language. His favorite book is Mountain Madness. One day Jack went sailing. Nim thinks Jack is the best sailor ever. While he’s out at sea he meets a freak storm and has an accident where he loses a chunk of his forehead. Jack has three animal pets, Selkie the sea lion, Fred the iguana and Galileo the frigate bird.
