  Tara

Hello my name is Tara and I am 11 years old. I am in the Nim Islanders group along with some of my other friends. This site has been really fun to organize and make the create things for it. It was a very educational thing we all had to do and it certainly taught me a lot about computers and information on things we all needed to know. It’s great that our group has all shared out the jobs easily and made it all fair so we are all happy with the things we have done. Nim’s Island is a great book and that’s why we chose it for the topics Books and Literature. It’s been a great learning activity and a joy to be involved in! Thanks for listening.

  Collaboration

Tara, Darcy, Finbar and Kris all shared out their jobs evenly so everything was fair. They all had extra work because very few were in the team so that was a good thing that had to be done. Kris was the computer whiz and downloaded the site on the internet and put all the work on. Tara illustrated the Nim’s Island picture and gave it to Kris so he could download it on the site. Tara also found information on Wendy Orr and Green Iguanas, made a hello letter before everyone entered the site, did a character profile on Nim and did interview questions for Wendy Orr the author. Finbar did a character profile drew pictures of things to put on the site and found out information about sea lions. Darcy did a character profile, and made a quiz with Finbar and himself and made links for useful sites you could browse through. The coach Wendy Dunn has helped out the Nim Islanders when they were unsure of things.
