Jordan
My name is Jordan and I am in Year 7 at Norwood Primary School. When I found out about ThinkQuest from Tina I was really excited and I thought that I would give it a go. I had to show my skills in responsibility, maturity, leadership and my willingness to learn.
I have learnt lots about the technical side of web pages and I am really interested in website development. I also found out a lot of facts about Australia and our native animals that I didn’t know about before.
I have developed greater skills in cooperation and I know that they will definitely be useful in the future. It was also a great experience working with my team members and communicating by email with everyone, especially as Eleanor is in another state of Australia.
I have a good sense of humour and I enjoy being funny. The team were impressed by my ability to make them laugh and so they asked me to write up some funny conversations that might occur between the animals themselves.I really enjoyed doing that and hope you enjoy reading them.
I also worked on the webpages choosing colours and making the links. The team had some great discussions around this.
My hobbies include playing video games, eating, and staying up late. I am also interested in Rugby and sprinting, and I also play the guitar.
I have really enjoyed this ThinkQuest experience and hope to do something similar in the future. I have also enjoyed working with my team mates and have learnt a lot from them.
Thankyou to Tina and Carol for being our coaches and to Mark and Daniel for teaching us about websites. Thank you also to Robin and Preeti who came along to meetings and supported us every week. Also, thank you to our teachers, Heather, Sue and Marissa for giving us the time to work on our website.
