Many ThanksWe would like to thank all of our parents for their help, and our teachers, Marissa Ruolle, Heather Petitt and Sue De Leo. Thanks also to Tina and Carol, our coaches, who helped check our work and kept us on task. They were there for us with their guidance and suggestions. Thanks to Rob Harkin for his interview, and for supporting our team.
AcknowledgementsWe would also sincerely like to thank and acknowledge the following people, with out whom our website would definitely have not existed. Steve ParishWe all loved Steve Parish’s photos and we decided to ask his permission to use some of them on our website. Steve generously allowed us to use any of his images and we sincerely thank him for that. Emma Wilson, the Image Library Resource Officer, very kindly passed on our interview questions to Steve and his wife Catherine, answered them for us as Steve was away on a photo shoot. We were pleasantly surprised to see that Steve grew up in the suburb of Norwood, which is where our school is situated. We learnt a great deal from Steve’s books and we thank him, his wife Catherine and Emma for all their help and support. http://www.steveparish.com.au/ Frank MantheyWe all fell in love with the bilby at Easter time and we got into an interesting debate about the Easter Bunny versus the Easter Bilby. Seeing Frank Manthey on 60 Minutes inspired Chloe and Eleanor to find out more about the bilby. Frank was very generous in granting Eleanor an online interview and we thank him sincerely for this. Chloe and her dad http://www.savethebilbyfund.com/ Bethlehem GeorgellisAt the Glendi Greek Festival, our coach Tina was fortunate enough to meet a wonderful Greek author and illustrator, Bethlehem Georgellis. Beth was very generous in allowing us to use her images and to review her two books on Zeus the koala. Beth’s stories show the importance of living together in a world filled with peace and harmony. She manages to bring together the beauty of different cultures and has added to our global outlook on our site. We thank you Bethlehem. Ann HoganCarol, our assistant coach, introduced us to Ann Hogan, who is an inspiration with her work with injured animals. We fell in love with Cocker the cheeky cockatoo and with Spiky the echidna. Thank you Ann for allowing us to use your video of Cocka and for the photos of him and Spiky. Mark HerbertA huge thank you to Mark, for his hard work in teaching us about the technical side of things. It has been a wonderful experience and we value your support. Thanks Mark. Robin GehrkeRobin was an inspiration behind the scenes. He helped us wherever we needed a boost. He also made Tina lots of coffee. Thank you Robin. Daniel CarneyDaniel also taught us about the technical side of images and webpages. We thank him for his caring approach to teaching us new skills. Preeti GuptaThank you to Preeti and Soumya for being there every week. We appreciate your support.
