Present Scenario
Little has changed in the village of India in the past decades. Schools have been built, but many still lack teachers and appropriate teaching methods.
Today, though Indian economy is growing and 8-10% P.A., people of rural India fail to benefit due to lack proper communications and health facilities. Thousands die of diseases such as measles. Healthy livestock and farms are their sustianance,whole livelihoods are wiped out due to a animal disease. In Africa, thousands die due to lack of medicines, hygiene and basic treatment facilities. In war-ravaged Vietnam, diseases resulting from mutation amy wipe out villages.
These are but a few examples of how village life is being led today. This section sets out to show the major plights rural residents of India face.
