Being Indians, we are well aware of the problems a rural citizen of India faces, especially when it comes to healthcare and medicine, as we read about cases of death due to curable desiases frequently.

The idea  Top ¬

Our idea was born around this time in 2005, when we initially were part of a team going to different school level contests. Delving into the different aspects of indian society we realised that this problem is a major one and needs to be addressed and also that we must research and study solutions and technology which could prove a boon for the rural patient. We had planned out the site content in an elaborate manner, with highlights of all the required points and facts, within in a month of our selection of our site subject. But then due to our school examinations and academic activities, we had to suspend active development of virtualclinic. Then, as we stood 2 months from the preminary submission deadline, site design and content consolidation was started.

Us  Top ¬

We are students of high school having access to good education, health care, advanced technology and other facilities that enrich our lives and also improve our standard of living. But as we travel to rural areas, we  often notice that  our  age  group boys and girls are not so fortunate and have access to limited facilities.

Our Belief  Top ¬

We hope that technology can be simplified (de-mystified) to help such boys and girls and their families have improved access to their daily requirements and go a step forward in sustainable development.

We hope our website would be a step in this direction and that communities of like minded professionals and students can continuously contribute for the welfare of people not as fortunate as us.

A few words  Top ¬

Virtual Clinic is the creation of Abhay, Siddharth & Abhishek. It isn't exactly a website. It is a concept. It is what we have left you to complete. Something that can never be called a failure or success, but a target at infinity.
