Medieval Japanese warfare is a very interesting part of Japan's history. It includes all the different weapons including hand-held weapons such as the katana, or ranged weapons such as the bow or a shuriken. Other parts of medieval Japanese warfare include the samurai, who were the warriors who fought in the battles, and government which controlled all aspects of Japanese warfare. In this website, we have provided much information on all of these topics, as you can see on the side. In the samurai section of the site, we basic information on the samurai and how they lived, along with there code of values called bushido. On the hand held weapons, there is information on the katana, the wakizashi, and the tanto. Next, we have the ranged fighting page which includes the shuriken, the bow, and tactics used for fighting wars. Last, we have lots of information on Japanese government, which was a very important part of Japanese warfare. The next three pages are activities and games, about the authors, and the bibliography including the sources we got the information and pictures from.
