An interesting reptile in the marsh is the snapping turtle. They are fresh water turtles that are omnivorous, which means they eat everything. They live in ponds, lakes, rivers and streams. Their shell is 45 cm. in length. The eggs look like ping-pong balls. Their eggs hatch in September or October.
