Snakes

    One reptile is the common garter snake. It’s length is about 60 - 80 cm. They vary in color. They have a flickering tongue. Garter snakes eat earthworms, frogs, fish, and mice. They have 20 - 40 babies in a litter. Another snake is the milk snake. It strangles mice. The last snake is the red bellied snake. It is the smallest snake in the Horicon Marsh (12 in.).
