The
Northern Harrier is also known as the Marsh Hawk. Their body length is

inches and their wingspan is 42 inches. They have a short, dark, hooked
beak to
eat their prey, mostly small rodents.
An
adult bird has a dark gray head, pale gray body which is a lighter
color
underneath. The
tail has dark bars on
it.
They often soar low over the marsh looking for food.
