The Georgia Aquarium is located in Atlanta,
Georgia. Not the Georgia in Europe but in the U.S.A. Did you know that the
Georgia Aquarium is now the second largest aquarium in the world? It has 8 million
gallons of water and is right now holding over 100 thousand marine animals in
the aquarium. It even has a 4-D theater. This aquarium opened in 2005. They have
a cold water quest that includes animals from all over the world that has to
live in a cold water aquarium. They also have a display of the Georgia Coast
animals. They have a river display that has animals from all over the world that
live in water. The aquarium sits on 9 ½ acres of land in Atlanta Georgia. The
aquarium is supposed to look like a ship breaking through the waves of the
ocean.
