The objective of this website is to inform and educate viewers on natural disasters and human caused catastrophes occurring around the world. The website focuses on how the cultures and region affected by these "storms" rise above the tide and lend support in dark times.

Navigation
The Home Page is a view of the world as a flat map. Continents will be outlined when a mouse pointer hovers above. Click the continent to go to the section. The home page also includes a center button which will open additional options. Each section has a top menu for quick access to other continent sections. The sections contain multiple articles which can be selected by clicking on the list to the left. Articles which are longer in length can be read further by use of the scroll buttons located at the bottom. The three buttons at the bottom, Background, Effects, and Response present the topic in three angles. If additional photos or videos are available for the topic, a fourth button labeled Media will be present. The left corner includes a feature which will trigger the visibility of the content.
