Symptoms of Avian flu include

-   a fever (38degress Celsius or above)
-   coughing
-   rapid breathing
-   headache
-   sore throat
-   sore eyes
-   muscle aches

     These symptoms are very similar to normal influenza symptoms, so do not just assume that you have a regular flu. Go see the doctor because you may be in grave danger.

     If you have these symptoms while you are in a foreign country, and have been in close contact with live or dead poultry, you should seek medical advice locally, and immediately to prevent spreading the disease.

     If you have the symptoms above within seven days of leaving an affected country, and you had close contact with live or dead poultry, it is crucial that you seek medical attention immediately.
