We the Sanatanists are conscious of the fact that we are not the first group of people with the Moniker. There have been Sanatanists at all ages and when we browse through the information displayed we are stopped  in our tracks by a set of people who are grouped under the head”Siddahs”.These early Sanatanists have probably lived millions of years back and according to some accounts people like that lived in every century and even today they are found in different parts of our country.

These Siddhas are disciples of Vedas which have delivered the Yogic principles to humanity.

They have attained enormous powers by relentless pursuit of

Yoga and by total control of all their senses. Through their ability to focus all their cerebral energy towards one objective they have attained eight ‘siddhis’,occultic powers .We are told that these people can reduce themselves to the size of a single atom(Anima), become so huge in size that a mountain will be dwarfed (Ganima), fly on air (Vayusthambanam) ,walk on water (Jalasthambanam), enter the bodies of other lives (parakhayapravesam) ,attain the ability to create or even to control elements. Tradition records the “Siddhas” as eighteen.
