Shantha Rajagopal
I am the motivator, coach, mentor and a sort of housekeeper, of our team. I have a Master’s Degree in Literature and another Masters in education. As life progressed I picked up a few Diplomas in School Management and English Teaching/ Having come across the ThinkQuest challenge during my browsing sessions I asked for volunteers from our school to have a go at it. These are the students who were selected and knit into a team out of the hundreds who put their hands up.
Jai Shankar Iyer Coordinator for the project with a Masters degree in Information Technology.
Kalaivani: She is in the final school year and hopes to join a good university for a graduate course next year She became a part of the team for her great writing skills. Vani: A student of Business Studies she too is in the last year of schooling. She wants to pursue a degree in commerce next year. Her selection into the ThinkQuest team is because of extraordinary patience in searching for information and collating them Gayathri: Another girl who completes school education this year has walked into the team along with her brother Swaminathan: who is the ninth standard. These two have infact selected the subject for the Quest. Religion, Philosophy and Mythology. They are totally familiar with the subject as their father is a priest in Thirupathi temple. Having lived in an atmosphere of piety and Veda chanting they were keen to probe the subject further and it was they who provided most of the facts for the pages. While these students are varied in their academic pursuits and family backgrounds they have one in common. They are all students of computer Science.
