Glossary
Spy hopping - The word “spyhop” is used to describe the action in which a killer whale lifts his head vertically out of the water and then returns below the surface.
Breaching - A term used to describe the action of a killer whale when it leaps out of the water. The orca exposes two thirds or more of its body.
