We are a group of fifth grade students from Magna, Utah. Our teacher chose us to be on the fifth grade Thinkquest team. We did our website about walls because we thought it would be and interesting topic. We learned that walls can be both real and invisible. Many walls are built for protection, but others are built to keep people in. Invisible walls are walls that people build within themselves for the same reasons.
We got together and researched different walls. We then brainstormed what walls we would include in our website. We each took three walls, researched, wrote about, and created webpages for each. We also each learned about a person who worked to break down invisible walls.
We learned about interesting places and people. It was interesting to think about walls differently. We also learned how to create webpages and work together better as a team. We hope you enjoy our website and learn a lot!!!
