The earliest popcorn ever found is believed to be 4,000 years old. They were found in the Bat Cave of New Mexico, USA. They were found in 1948 to 1950. Popcorn was used by the early Peruvians and the Aztec. The Aztec used it for ceremonial headdresses and decorations on statues of their Gods.
