Ever since scientists discovered foot printing, foot printing has been a very important part of forensics, especially since most criminals remember to wear gloves. Shoe prints have no recognized "science", even though it is an important part of forensics. You may at first think that, even if scientists do figure out what kind of shoe print the criminal had wore, anyone could have worn that same shoe; why bother finding it? Wrong!!
