About Us
Collaboration
We all got together to do this project on ThinkQuest, where you make your own website. We made our website based on authors and we communicated by using a program called Moodle (which is like e-mail). We all are in an enrichment program in our schools. We are all fifth grade girls. We all go to school in the same school district.
Rose and Angela worked together and completed pages on J.K. Rowling and Judy Blume. Lindsey and Brittany worked very well together. Brittany has been working on Sharon Creech. Lindsey has been working on R.L. Stine. Julia and Ally wrote about the authors Cornelia Funke and Kate DiCamillo. Everyone has worked very hard and we all had fun creating this website.
We all brought different strengths. We came from 3 different schools so it was hard to communicate. We used an online program called Moodle to share our ideas. Some of our special strengths included writing and some of us were good at researching and drawing. We all brought creativity by expressing our ideas with each other through Moodle. We worked well together and agreed on almost everything. We all became friends.
Global Perspective
Although everyone on the team likes to read, we enjoy reading about varied topics. We all had our own favorite authors that we wanted to share with our audience. We decided to include authors that are popular in the United States as well as other countries. Cornelia Funke and J.K. Rowling are very well known in Europe and Great Britain. All of the authors have books that sell well in multiple countries around the world.
