The symptoms and complaints of non-small cell lung cancer
The symptoms of non-small cell lung cancer are different from each other. It depends on the length of the tumor, where is tumor is placed and if there are any disseminates. If the tumor is small there are no complaints, then it's just coincident if it's found. Later when it's found it point out that there were unclear complaints like less active, less eating and sometimes losing weight. The clear symptoms of lung cancer are; cough, cough blood, feel oppressed, infection in the lungs, pain in chest and pain around the lung (because of the disseminates)
Symptoms and complaints of small cell lung cancer.
Not all of the complaints are because of the tumor itself, but they could be caused by the disseminations. The disseminations could cause that the organs don't work anymore.
Complaints which are caused by the tumor are: a lot of coughing, feel oppressed, injuries in the airway which return, cough or throw up blood and sometimes a peeping breathing.
Complaints and symptoms of disseminations could be: swollen veins in the neck, headache, pushing pain when bend over, throatiness, pain in sternum and pain by swallowing.
Complaints in other body parts because the tumor disseminates very fast could be: pain in bones, headache, pain in liver that could cause jaundice.
The tumor cells could influence the endocrine glands. Those are glands that make special body chemicals like hormones or remove certain type of chemicals from the blood. Because of the cancer cells they don't do that anymore, so there could comes more calcium in the blood and a shortage of sodium.
By man there could be feminine change like growth of breasts and los of hair.
If you got one or more of these symptoms or complaints it doesn't mean you got lung cancer. In that case the best is to discuss it with you doctor.
