Rens

Rens lives in Rotterdam during the weekends.
He is 18 years old. He really loves to skate. It is a good sport.
He has been skating before, in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Since 2000 he also plays hockey.

In the beginning skating was difficult but not anymore.
Rens has been visual handicapped from his birth.
He has only 10 % sight compared to normal seeing people.



Rens is also physically handicapped. He is spastic.
This means that skating was more difficult for him but he wants to skate as often as he can.
